By logging in you help us make the information you see more useful. This is because the first time you log in you will be asked a few questions to help us make sure we're giving you the information that best suits your needs. By finding out what language you are interested in we can make you a home page that gives you special sites and pictures and games all in the language of your choice!
When you log in the first time you will choose a username and password. Pick a name and password you can remember easily. You will get an email from us reminding you of what you picked -- it's a good thing to save that email so if you forget your password you have a way to easily find it again.
Note to users of Microsoft Internet Explorer
In order for login to work properly in Internet Explorer the browser's security level must be set to medium or below.
To set your security zone in Internet Explorer using a Macintosh: Open up your browser preferences (Command-;). Under Web Browser choose Security Zones. Make sure that the selected zone is Internet Zone and select Medium. Click OK to make the change.
To set your security zone in Internet Explorer running under Windows: From the Tools menu select Internet Options. Click the Security tab. Select the Internet content zone. Set the security zone to Medium. Click OK to make the change. |
