Description:
As a part of Internet Public Library (IPL) KidSpace created by School of Information, University of Michigan, Culture Quest World Tour provides resources for younger learners to learn about Asian cultures. The site is divided into three sections: Hi hao from China, Konnichiwa form Japan, and Selamat Datang from Singapore. Each section presents descriptions of traditional holidays and games, links to museum sites, and collections of recipes for China, Japan and Singapore sections; folktales (China and Singapore sections only), and crafts (China section only; Japanese craft section is not working). If you are working on a project on culture, the site has a section to help you with your project. Click on Ask A Question on KidSpace Features on the left side of the page, and see what you should do.
