Created by five African students studying abroad, Africatime is a clearinghouse for information on Africa in general and, more precisely, French-speaking Africa. Presenting information on all of Africa's countries, the site is a great resource for students and teachers alike, with focuses on both up-to-the-minute news and more general historical information. The site also features chat and discussion areas for those interested in learning from natives and those who have lived abroad. Beyond the informational, however, the site is also alive with rich images of African life in all its grandeur and profusion. Last but not least, Africatime also boasts its own search engine and data base.
