Mundo 21 Alternate Title: BYU HRC Latin Countries Page Description: Designed by Douglas S. Mehr, from the Brigham Young University, this site accompanies their Spanish 202 classes with the text Mundo 21. The textbook itself offers a detailed study of Spanish-speaking countries and Brazil and Portugal. As a continuation of this endeavor, the website has a clickable map of all of the Latin American countries, Spain, Brazil, and Portugal. Each country is linked to a page with its flag, official name, size, main cities, and money. Many of the countries also include a picture of the national currency. Additionally, the site includes many quality web links of interest about each country. Links of interest are not consistent for each country, but the majority of them are in Spanish to facilitate class needs. Students and instructors not currently using Mundo 21 may nevertheless find this site of value because of its country-specific information.
