Aux Portes du Sahara Description: Trek through the Saraha Desert in a virtual tour of sand dunes, camel caravans, local music, and the Arabic language. This site is a collection of photographs and documents gathered from a one-week trek in Tunisia. Pictures are accompanied by quotes from Théodore Monod (1901-2000), a French writer, professor, and scientist who studied the region extensively.
