Chicos.net comes from Argentina with the goal of providing an entertaining and informative arena for pre-teens and teenagers. The site is extremely busy in terms of its graphics, but does contain a large number of worthwhile areas to explore. Vacaciones express is a neat place to visit because it makes suggestions about what to do on vacation (or even things to do for a really short "vacation") with weekly experiments, book suggestions, as well as commentary from kids around the world. There is also an amusing section on Vitboy, a cartoon super hero, able to be viewed on the site. Vitboy's cartoon allos allows one to listen, although it is difficult to hear his high-pitched voice at times. There is a fabulous section of interactive games, including Pingüi, a small penguin collecting gold coins from ice blocks while fighting off evil flames and llamas. Most of the games on the site are interactive and extremely entertaining. On the more informative side, Corresponsales offers news and information on popular movie stars, sports events, books, etc. Throughout the site there are a number of other useful areas, including a calendar, jokes, music, and information about the Argentine economic crisis. The majority of the site is interactive and will provide hours of fun for anyone adventurous enough to explore.
