CiberCentro Description: CiberCentro was established in 1995 as an information portal about Latin America. The site is well organized and is also a multi-faceted site with several purposes. The most important aspect of this site for Spanish students is that it has collected Web links on all of the Spanish-speaking countries and organized them into travel data, foreign relations, online newspapers, search engines, and on- and off- line Internert cafes. The countries include the United States and information on Portugal, which is also primarily in Spanish. CiberCentro asserts that it has not tried to include every possible link for each category or each country. Rather, they have provided links they have found to be most useful, most informative, and in good working condition. The other aspects to this site pertain to its company. CiberCentro has links to its professional Web services, which range from research, consulting, translations, e-commerce development, and Web site design, among others. Please note that the professional services are not free. Finally, the site contains a number of interesting ads to peruse. They mainly pertain to the sale of real estate in Costa Rica. This site is primarily in Spanish, but there is an English equivalent accessible. Several of the sections are designed to be bilingual.
