Description: Part of the ever growing Virtual Museum of Canada, this exhibition on nine French-speaking locations around the world affords visitors the opportunity to experience the cultural productions of peoples from disparate times and traditions. Each of the museum collections can be accessed directly by clicking on various points on the globe, or through a straightforward list. All of the exhibitions are strong on art and artifacts, presenting a wide array of native works with accompanying written descriptions in French. Beyond the above, however, the site also features various other content, including a very interesting study of graffiti from around the world, as well as images of masks and dolls. Last but not least, and to keep young minds interested, the site also offers its own selection of games and student drawings. Please note the plugin is required to enter this site. |
